Day One: “Listen”
What does it mean for you to “listen” to the Lord?
What will make you a better listener?
Write down in your own words the last thing God said to you? And then, how did you respond to Him?
Day Two: “Communication Matters”
What does it tell you that God chose to speak to the people and to the king?
Notice that God spoke the same thing to everyone. Why is that significant?
Day Three: “Do Not Be Afraid”
When you are feeling the onset of fear, what kinds of defense strategies have you put into place to disarm fear?
List your favorite Scriptures that give you comfort when you are afraid. Don’t just give a reference. Write them out and then pray through them.
Day Four: “Don’t Be Discouraged”
How do you encourage yourself when you become discouraged?
List a few of your favorite Scriptures that fill your heart with hope. Again, don’t just give the references, write out the verses below. And then, pray through them.
Day Five: “The Battle Is Not Yours, But God’s.”
What do you think the secret is to turn over the battles that come to you to the Lord, each and every one?
How does it make you feel when God wins your battles for you?
