MODULE #2: Experiencing Your Best Month This Year

Why Setting Monthly Goals Matter vs. Setting Goals For The Year

Goal Setting is one of the most highly anticipated activities we do that, sometimes, ends up missing the mark, more often than we wish to admit. We can offer an abundance of excuses of why we failed to meet our goals. Here are a few:

  • It became too hard

  • It was unrealistic

  • I lost my focus because other things got in the way

  • I could not sustain the emotional energy it takes to reach my goals

  • No one held me accountable

  • I set myself up for failure

I don’t believe we want to fail, but failure can become our best friend IF it leads to lasting success. There is plenty of advice from those who have given their two cents on the topic of failure. For example,

“Failure is good as long as it doesn’t become a habit.” -Michael Eisner

“Failure is a detour; not a dead-end street.” -Zig Ziglar

I have not failed, I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” -Thomas Edison

“You always pass failure on your way to success.” -Mickey Rooney

“Never let success get to your head; never let failure get to your heart.” -Anonymous

My New Year's resolution is to procrastinate. I'll start tomorrow.” - -Anonymous

The last quote, “My New Year's resolution is to procrastinate. I'll start tomorrow.”, got me thinking about how we put so much emotional investment into “New Year’s Resolutions” only to realize the shelf life of these “Resolutions” only lasts a few months, if that long. What if . . .

  • I could create a new way of setting goals for you that will not fade away into the land of “here we go again” goal failures?

  • I could focus on three essential aspects of your life that can be massaged and improved on every month in a practical way that are both measurable and realistic?

  • I could design a series of coaching questions and real time assessments in your Personal, Professional, and Spiritual life that can be worked on this month and evaluated every month instead at the end of the year?

  • You can experience Your Best Month This Year, every month?

Would that interest you? I believe it will! The beauty of this plan, Experiencing Your Best Month This Year, is you do not have to wait until a new year begins to start. Your quest for Life Transformation in your Personal, Professional, and Spiritual life can begin right now.
