Breakthrough: Going From Stuck To Steady - limited access

“See, I Am Doing Something New” — Isaiah 43:15–19 (NLT)

Breakthrough rarely begins in the spotlight. More often, it begins in the silence — in the quiet places where we’re tired of repeating the same patterns, weary of carrying the same burdens, and hungry for something more. Into those very places, God speaks words strong enough to split seas:

“I am the Lord, your Holy One, Israel’s Creator and King.
I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea.
I called forth the mighty army of Egypt with all its chariots and horses.
I drew them beneath the waves, and they drowned, their lives snuffed out like a smoldering candlewick.
But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
For I am about to do something new.
See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”

These words were spoken to a people who felt stuck — emotionally, spiritually, nationally, and personally. Israel remembered the Red Sea miracle as the defining breakthrough of their history. But then God says something shocking:

“Forget all that — it is nothing compared to what I’m going to do.”

Not because the past didn’t matter, but because God doesn’t want yesterday’s miracle to become tomorrow’s limitation. The true danger in seasons of stagnation is not the absence of opportunity — it’s allowing our memory of what has been to become the ceiling of what could be.

God reminds Israel who He is:

• The Holy One
• The Creator
• The King
• The Way-Maker
• The God of Seas, Wilderness, and Rivers in Wastelands

Breakthrough begins not with what we do, but with who God is.

And just as He opened a way through the Red Sea, He promises a new pathway through their present wilderness. He declares:

“See, I have already begun!”
